The Department of Education had its inception in 2006 and since then it has constantly focused upon to produce proficient, dedicated and conscientious teacher educators. The department has well-equipped teaching-learning labs and required infrastructural amenities. In view of making students abreast with the latest trends, we provide all-round exposure by engaging them in a plethora of diversified activities like recreational tours, cultural programs, and fests, etc. The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B. Ed, is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary level (classes IX-X) and senior secondary level (classes XI-XII). It’s a co-educational institute which offers two years full-time B. Ed program with an annual intake of 100 students and is permanently affiliated and NAAC accredited.
