Circulation Section remains open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm; books shall be issued against digital library cards. These cards are valid for one academic session and have to be renewed for next year.
On Line Public Access Catalogue of all the 122432 books is available to library users. OPAC is also available in respective teaching departments. To find a book, check the subject, author or title on OPAC and also search availability of books. Students are also provided instructions on how to use a computer-based library system.
1.Numbers of books issued to students are as per course requirements.
2.For B. Tech. students 3 books are issued for 10 days and same book is renewed once after ten days.
3.For B. Pharm. students 4 books are issued for 10 days and same book is renewed once after ten days.
4.For M. Tech/ M. Pharm students 6 books are issued for 10 days and same book is renewed once For MCA Student 6 books are issued for one month.
5.For MBA student 10 book are issued for one month
TBLS (textbook book loan scheme) facility is available for B. Tech. Students. In the starting of each semester, a full set of prescribed text books of all subjects are issued for the semester duration. TBL books are to be returned by the end of the semester.
1.To provide additional benefits to students, library has established a reference section for students residing in hostel and nearby institute area. Reference section contains two copies of all prescribed books of all courses including competition and other examination books. These books are issued for overnight use. More than 5,000 books are housed in this section. It remains open between 9:30 am to 10:00 pm on week-days and from 10 am to 5 pm on off days. During exam days reference section remains open from 9:30 am to 12 midnight.
2.Reference books can be issued for overnight only.
To provide library services after 5 p.m. and on closed days to girl students residing in hostel, a library has been established in the Girls Hostel. Presently it has 805 books. It remains open between 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on week-days and from 10 a.m.-1p.m. noon on off days.
The library is provided with a Reprographic section. Students can have following documents on payment basis:
1.Previous question papers for all courses
2.Membership Form
3.No Dues Form
4.Book Requisite Form
5.Scholarship Form ( for OBC, SC, ST)
6.All Affidavits – as required
